Description

The function of the oil pump is to raise the oil to a certain pressure and forcibly press it to the moving surfaces of the various parts of the engine. The oil pump structure can be divided into gear type and rotor type. Gear oil pump is divided into internal gear type and external gear type, the latter is generally called gear oil pump. Simple structure, small size, light weight and large oil delivery capacity. The cycloid rotor pump adopts the structure of meshing inner and outer rotors, with a small number of teeth and a compact structure.

Characteristic

Smooth operation and low noise. The number of teeth between the inner and outer rotors of the cycloid rotor pump is only one tooth apart. When they move relative to each other, the sliding speed of the tooth surfaces is small, and the meshing point continuously moves along the tooth profiles of the inner and outer rotors. Therefore, the mutual wear of the tooth surfaces of the two rotors is small. Due to the large envelope angle of the oil suction cavity and the oil discharge cavity, which is close to 145°, the oil suction and oil discharge time are relatively sufficient. Therefore, the oil flow is relatively stable, the movement is relatively stable, and the noise is significantly lower than that of the gear pump.
