Description
The automobile water temperature sensor is installed on the water jacket of the engine block or cylinder head, and is in direct contact with the coolant to measure the coolant temperature of the engine. The temperature sensor used in the coolant temperature gauge is a negative temperature coefficient thermistor (NTC) whose resistance decreases as the temperature increases. There is a wire connected to the electronic control unit ECU.
