Description
The speed sensor is a kind of sensor that is widely used. Most output pulse signals (approximately sine or rectangular). The methods for measuring the rotational speed of the pulse signal include: the frequency integration method (that is, the F/V conversion method, the direct result of which is voltage or current), and the frequency arithmetic method (the direct result of which is digital).
In automation technology, rotational motion speed is measured more often, and linear motion speed is often indirectly measured by rotational speed. A DC tachogenerator converts rotational speed into an electrical signal. The tachometer requires a linear relationship between the output voltage and the rotational speed, and requires a large output voltage steepness and good time and temperature stability. Tachometers can generally be divided into two types: DC type and AC type. Rotary speed sensors are in direct contact with moving objects. When a moving object comes into contact with the rotating speed sensor, the friction force drives the roller of the sensor to rotate. A rotating pulse sensor mounted on the roller sends out a series of pulses. Each pulse represents a certain distance value, so that the linear velocity can be measured. In the electromagnetic induction type, a gear is installed on the rotating shaft, and the outer side is an electromagnetic coil. The rotation is due to the passage of the gear tooth gap, and the voltage of the square wave change is obtained, and then the speed is calculated. The rotary speed sensor has no direct contact with the moving object. The blade edge of the impeller is pasted with a reflective film, which drives the impeller to rotate when the fluid flows. The optical fiber transmits light once per revolution of the impeller to generate an electrical pulse signal. The speed can be calculated from the number of detected pulses.
